''IT WASN'T MY CHOICE'' BY CRISTINA TURCAN

Today, I want to share a good news with all of you-MY NOVEL ''IT WASN'T MY CHOICE'' IS FINALY ON SELL ON AMAZON.COM!!!:-)

Yeah, that's such a release and happiness after the long journey of writing the book. I was dreaming about this moment since very long time, but I never imagined that it will be that much work to write a novel and to prepare it for sell. Thanks God I achieved one of my dreams:-)

 My friend, Leonora Osaigbovo, who is a writer as well, was telling me all the time: 'Cris, every day your book is not on Amazon, you lose money! You have get it out and put your book on sell!'

When I finished writing the novel, I had to find an idea for the cover design of the novel and I decided to make it very simple and mysterious. So, on the old cover I had two red apples on a white background. Of course the two red apples were having a deep meaning and everybody could take them as :two choices or two persons, or two places etc. But, I don't want to talk about the meaning of the old cover, because now the novel has a new beautiful cover. Why did I decided to change it? Well, because few people told me to do that, saying that the book looks like a diet book or a book for cooking. And, obviously I didn't want that; I din't want to confuse people, that's why I had to look for a new designer to design for me a new cover.

I was lucky to find a great designer and artist, called Ludmila Bouros, from Republic of Moldova, who designed the new cover the way I wanted. She was very patient working with me and at the end she gave me the cover i had it in my mind. Hopfully now, everybody will understand that it's a novel and it's a contemporary romance, set in Dubai. Gus Takkale-author and professional speaker from Canada

Few months ago, I met Gus Takkale in Dubai, through one friend of mine and we had a coffee together and a very nice chat. . He came to Dubai to promote his second book ‘’the road: a journey through the 5 C’s of change’’. It was a pleasure for me to meet such an interesting man and also to get a copy of his book with an autograph.

But, let me tell you more about him. Gus Takkale is the author of two books: ‘’The 5 C’s in Change’’ and ‘’ The Road: A Journey through the 5 C’s of Change’’ and a professional speaker. He was born in the UAE, but grew up in Canada.

During our conversation with Gus, I dared to ask him what is his biggest dream, and his response was prompt and short-‘’to change the world!’’. I smiled and I thought inside me-‘’he is crazy or he’s joking!’’ Then he started telling me that he wrote the books ‘’The 5 C’s in Change’’ and ‘’ The Road: A Journey through the 5 C’s of Change’’ with the same purpose-to change the world! He was very serious about it and determinate to do that. 

He is the president of Gus Takkale International (GTI), an organization that builds programs that empower people and position them for successful change. He travels the world to guide people on this journey of transformation and success.

Gus is on a mission to change the world and he is doing that one person at a time.

I read this book expecting that I’ll learn and discover something great, something to help me to change my life. But the most important, I wanted to understand what those 5 C’s are and what was the meaning of  Gus’s autograph for me inside the book-‘’Cristina, live with PHP!’’

So, finally after reading the book, I found out that PHP means: Purpose, Hunger and Passion.

The success on the road of your life will depend on your ability to change your character, then to become constructive, and then you need a full commitment, the ability to communicate and at the end is about contributing to yourself and to the world.

My first novel ''It wasn't my choice''

‘’It wasn’t my choice’’ is my debut novel-contemporary romance, set in Dubai. It took for me a year and half to finish writing this book and it has 232 pages, twelve chapters. I guess everybody has a story to tell and I had one too!

The plot is very captivating and has a lot of adventures. Also, you'll find interesting informations about Italy, Dubai and about the revolution in Syria, started in March 2010. You better read the resume of this story and have an idea about it!

The resume

It’s  a  story  of  love  between  a  European  girl,  came  to  Dubai  for  work  and  an  Arabic  guy,  who  is  originally  from  Syria,  but  living  in Dubai  since  many  years,  doing  business.

It  was  love  at  first  sight  for  her,  but  not  for  him.  Even,  they  started  dating  each  other,  he  never  told  her  about  his  feelings  and  he  was  all  the  time  busy  with  his  business.  The  girl  was  going  crazy  for  him  and  trying  hard  to make  him  love  her.  She  was  following  him  and  doing  crazy  things,  but  he  decided  to  just  disappear  in one  day.

After  half  year,  he  shows  up  and  he  wants  her  back.  But  when  the  things  started  to  get  better  between  them,  he  had  to  leave  for  vacation  to  Syria.  And  while  he  was  there,  the  cruel  revolution  began  in  Syria  in  March  2010,  and  many  people  have  been  killed  by  the  Special  Forces.  So,  because  he  loved  his  country,  he  stayed  to  fight  for  freedom  and  protect  his  family  there.

In  one  day,  a  crazy  lady  tried  to  kill  him  but  he  saved  himself,  but  a  message,  which  he  wrote  on  his  Facebook  page  against  the  President  of  Syria,  really  killed him with cold blood!
